Dojangs – Dao Centers

Sacred Spaces for Cultivation

Dojangs (도장) are the practice centers of Jeung San Do — sacred spaces where practitioners gather to study, meditate, and cultivate together. The word "dojang" literally means "a place of the Dao," and these centers serve as the heart of the Jeung San Do community.

What Happens at a Dojang

At a dojang, practitioners engage in group meditation (jwahap), study of the Dojeon scriptures, chanting of the Taeeulju mantra, and various rituals that strengthen spiritual connection and community bonds. Dojangs also offer guidance for personal cultivation and opportunities to learn from senior practitioners.

Finding a Dojang

Dojangs can be found in major cities around the world. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, the dojang welcomes you. Each center offers introductory programs for those new to the practice.
