The Lineage Archive
Our Mission
Rooted in 10,000 years of Singyo tradition. Built for seekers navigating a world in transformation.
To help people cultivate clarity, resilience, and inner balance through meditation and timeless wisdom rooted in an ancient spiritual tradition.

Who We Are
Drawing upon centuries of self-cultivation and philosophical insight
Jeung San Do draws upon centuries of self-cultivation practices and philosophical insight to help individuals better understand themselves and the world around them. At the heart of this tradition is the idea that life unfolds according to larger cycles of nature and the cosmos.
Our mission is to make these ancient teachings and practices accessible to modern seekers, offering practical tools for personal growth while exploring humanity's place within a larger cosmic journey.
The Great Transformation
Understanding Gaebyeok — the cosmic turning point
Just as the Earth moves through the seasons, Jeung San Do teaches that humanity is living through a profound seasonal transition within a greater Cosmic Year — a pivotal period known as Gaebyeok, or the Great Transformation.
Times of transition bring both challenge and opportunity, requiring us to develop greater awareness, adaptability, and inner strength. In times such as these, meditation becomes more than a personal practice. It becomes a means of aligning ourselves with the deeper rhythms of life.
Discover the wisdom of the Cosmic Year and the self-cultivation practices that have guided seekers through times of transformation for generations.

The Singyo Lineage
10,000 Years of Wisdom
Trace the thread of cultivation that stretches from humanity's earliest spiritual awakening to the present day.
The Birth of Singyo in the Hwanguk Era
The earliest self-cultivation practices emerge in ancient Korea during the Hwanguk era, rooted in humanity's deep connection to nature and the cosmos. Wisdom traditions formalize around cosmological principles, teaching that human life mirrors the cycles of nature and the seasons.
Baedal — The Founding of a Nation
On the sacred slopes of Baekdu Mountain, Hwanung establishes Baedal, a nation founded not on conquest but on harmony between heaven, earth, and humanity. Under his guidance, the principles of singyo cultivation become woven into the fabric of daily life — governance, medicine, astronomy, and meditation all flowing from a single cosmological vision.
Ancient Joseon — Continuation of the Lineage
Founded by Dangun, born of Hwanung and a woman of the Bear clan. The well-known story of a bear cultivating in a cave for a hundred days speaks, according to legend, of real tribal lineages rather than a fable.
The Revelation

Rise of Bochungyo
The teachings of Jeung San Sangjenim flourish, drawing some seven million followers — roughly one in every three Koreans. Bochungyo preserves the living essence of the ancient singyo tradition, carrying it through a period of profound upheaval into the modern era.
