Chiseongs – Dao Rituals
Rituals of Connection
Chiseongs (치성) are the ritual ceremonies of Jeung San Do — sacred practices that connect practitioners with the cosmic order and the lineage of the Dao. These rituals are performed at regular intervals and on special occasions throughout the year.
Types of Chiseong
Chiseongs include offerings, prayers, and ceremonial practices that align participants with the rhythms of the Cosmic Year. They serve as occasions for the community to gather, renew their commitment to the Dao, and receive the blessings of Sangjenim and Taemonim.
Participation
All practitioners are encouraged to participate in chiseongs, which are led by certified ritual officiants. These ceremonies are open to newcomers and provide a powerful experience of collective spiritual practice.
