The Dao Lineage
The Transmission of the Dao
The Dao lineage of Jeung San Do begins with Jeung-san Sangjenim (1871–1909), who revealed the teachings of the Later Heaven and carried out the Cheonjigongsa — the great work of renewing heaven and earth. His authority and teachings passed to Taemo Go Subunim (1880–1935), who continued the work of salvation.
The Succession Continues
Following Taemonim, the lineage passed to Ahn Un-san, His Holiness the Taesang Jongdosanim (1916–2012), who founded the modern movement and dedicated his life to spreading Sangjenim's teachings. In 1974, he and the Jongdosanim together established the modern organization of Jeung San Do.
The Current Leadership
The lineage continues today under the guidance of Ahn Gyeong-jeon, His Holiness the Jongdosanim, who leads Jeung San Do as its highest authority. Under his leadership, the teachings of Sangjenim and Taemonim continue to spread worldwide, carrying the message of Gaebyeok to all of humanity.
